Dr. Derek Leung, DMD, Pediatric Dentistry and General Dentistry
Dr. Derek Leung earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating cum laude. While at Boston University, Dr. Leung participated in mission trips treating the underserved in Honduras and practicing clinical and surgical techniques in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery while in China. Dr. Leung has been awarded the Humanitarian Award by The International College of Dentists. After completing his degree in 2015, he continued his education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to specialize in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Leung is a current resident at Tufts. Dr. Leung is currently seeing children, individuals with special needs, and adult patients at the Framingham and Milford offices.
Dr. Tim Byrnes, DMD, Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Tim Byrnes earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine with honors from Temple University School of Dentistry. After completing his degree, he spent four years practicing family dentistry. During that time he frequently worked with underserved communities. Seeing the need for more individuals to treat children, adolescents, and individuals with special needs he specialized in pediatric dentistry at The University of Connecticut School of Dentistry and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Dr. Byrnes is currently treating children and individuals with special needs at the Milford office.
Dr. Daniel M. Moynihan, DMD, Orthodontics and General Dentistry
Dr. Daniel Moynihan earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine with induction into the Omikron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Dental Society, Lambda Mu chapter, and also graduated magna cum laude. While at Boston University, Dr. Moynihan conducted orthodontic research for three years and has presented his research at many research conferences incuding Boston, MA, Charlotte, NC, and San Antonio, TX. He has also won many awards for his research including the ADA/Dentsply award and overall First Prize Presentation in the 2014 Boston University research presentation conference, and also the Quintessence Award for his research in 2015. He is in the process of submitting his research manuscript for publication in orthodontic journals. After completing his degree in 2015, he continued his education at Boston University to specialize and earn a masters in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. Dr. Moynihan is a current resident at Boston University and is going to be the third generation of orthodontists in the Moynihan family. Dr. Moynihan treats adult patients for general dentistry and also sees patients for orthodontics in the Framingham and Milford offices.
